With its rich natural landscapes and cultural heritage, Armenia has strong potential for rural tourism development. To support the sustainable growth of the sector, NABU Armenia, in collaboration with the ACBA Federation, is launching the first “Green Guesthouse” competition aimed at encouraging the adoption of environmentally friendly practices in rural hospitality.

The competition is open to existing hotels and guesthouses that are:

• located in rural areas,

• owned and managed by local residents,

• have a minimum of 5 rooms,

• have experience in the efficient use of natural resources
  Grant Awards:

• • 1st Place – 3,000,000 AMD

  • 2nd Place – 2,000,000 AMD

  • 3rd Place – 1,000,000 AMD

  Prize funds may be used at the full discretion of the winners.
