With the support of the ACBA Federation, the Scientific Center for Beekeeping Darbnots conducted its first specialized training course on innovative technologies in beekeeping, targeting farms in the Kotayk and Syunik regions.
The course began with participants presenting the current challenges and expectations of their farms to the trainer, Tigran Sedrakyan.
Following this exchange, Sedrakyan delivered an in-depth session covering: current state of beekeeping, primary responsibilities of beekeepers, most effective methods for queen rearing, a range of other advanced technologies relevant to modern apiculture.
Throughout the training, Sedrakyan emphasized the importance of the correct and timely execution of seasonal work. Special attention was also given to the prevention and treatment of bee pests and diseases, including the selection of safe and effective materials.

At the end of the course, participants’ knowledge was assessed through questionnaires, and their satisfaction with both the content and the methodology of the training was evaluated.
The positive feedback received highlights the growing interest in innovative practices among Armenia’s beekeeping communities.
