He first shows the wine cellar to the guests, tells the story of wine, the preparation method, and at last, organizes a degustation.  Berkri is one of the beneficiaries of “Agricultural tourism development program” organized by Acba Bank and Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU). Through the provided grant, the family opened a bakery, renovated the bought new furniture and started  the hustle and bustle of the work.

"When our friends and relatives were visiting Armenia, or just our region, they always ate in our house; they stayed in our house in groups of 10-20 people. They said – your food is good, you are very welcoming. That’s when we decided to build a family business. There was a time when we had to add several rooms, we had two and we needed two more, but we didn’t have the funds. We received support from Acba Federation, added a bakery filled with the culture of Tavush, where we now hold master classes, and furnished everything. Thanks to the investments we were able to double our finances”, noted Davit Avetisyan.

Berkri also organizes flatbread baking, tapestry and carpet weaving master classes, excursions and walks to local historical and cultural places for guests. Berkri guest house is located in Yenokavan village, Tavush region. Acba Federation is the only significant participant of Acba Bank with 83.8 percent stake in the bank's shares. Thanks to its participation in Acba Bank, Acba Federation contributes to the development of agriculture, small and medium businesses in rural areas, development of communities, revitalization and development of the business environment in rural areas and communities, and the growth of the well-being of every person carrying out business activities in these areas.
